Natalia Di Martino - EcoNati
My name is Natalia Di Martino, and I’m from Buenos Aires, Argentina.
I truly believe that sustainable living is the only possible way to live—not only to care for the Earth, but also to live a life that is meaningful, joyful, and aligned with our deepest values. For me, sustainability is not about sacrifice, perfection, or living off the grid. It’s about connection—connection with the planet, with others, and with ourselves. It’s about remembering that every small choice we make has an impact, and that by becoming more conscious in our daily lives, we can build a better future—starting right now, right where we are.
Unfortunately, we live in a world that is largely disconnected. Disconnected from nature. Disconnected from our waste. Disconnected from the consequences of our consumption, and from the people who make the products we use every day. I see this disconnection everywhere—at schools, in communities, in businesses. And I’ve made it my mission to bridge that gap. Through my platform, EcoNati, I create content, resources, talks, and workshops to help people understand that sustainable living is accessible, realistic, and deeply fulfilling.
EcoNati was born from my own personal journey of healing and discovery. For many years, I struggled with depression and a sense of disorientation. I tried many things to feel better—therapy, medication, exercise—but the real change came when I began to reconnect with the world around me. When I stopped chasing results and started enjoying the process of life. When I let go of what no longer served me—clutter, toxic relationships, unnecessary stress—and made space for gratitude, mindfulness, and conscious choices. That’s when I discovered the power of living sustainably, and it transformed me from the inside out.
I began reading everything I could on conscious living, climate action, circular economy, and emotional wellbeing. I started experimenting with new habits—reducing food waste, composting, simplifying my home, and making my own cleaning products. Over time, I developed a way of living that felt not only aligned with my values, but also peaceful, energizing, and grounded. And I knew I had to share it with others.
Today, through EcoNati, I speak to women—especially busy mothers like myself—who want to live better but often feel overwhelmed or unsure of where to start. I write guides, lead workshops, create digital products, and share everyday tips to help people take small but meaningful steps toward sustainability. I focus on making things simple, beautiful, and doable, celebrating progress over perfection. My tone is warm, inclusive, and uplifting—because I want people to feel empowered, not judged.
I'm also finishing my degree in Ecological Engineering, with a final thesis focused on strategies to reduce food waste in the gastronomy sector using circular economy principles. It’s been a long journey balancing motherhood, entrepreneurship, and my studies, but it’s a cause I’m deeply committed to. In addition to my work with EcoNati, I also serve on the environmental committee of my neighborhood, where we promote composting, recycling, and awareness campaigns. And more recently, I’ve been giving talks in schools, helping children understand their role in protecting the planet and connecting them to the deeper meaning of Earth in different cultures.
Of course, this path isn’t always easy. I struggle with impatience. Some days I feel like I’m the only one trying to push this message forward, and it can be exhausting. It’s frustrating to see plastic cups still being used in schools, or to talk about waste reduction and watch people continue to throw everything into a single bin. But then I take a deep breath and remind myself: change takes time. And doing the right thing is rarely the easiest path—but it’s always the most rewarding.
What keeps me going is the knowledge that even one conversation, one story, one small shift can make a difference. That my daughters are growing up understanding their role in this world. That a stranger might compost for the first time because of something I shared. That we’re part of a much larger movement of people who are waking up and choosing differently.
My dream is to keep expanding EcoNati—to build a strong, supportive community of people who care about sustainability, self-awareness, and collective wellbeing. I want to keep creating tools that make conscious living easier, more joyful, and more rooted in real life. And I want to keep learning—because I believe that we are all students on this journey, and there is always more to discover.
I’m passionate about creating a world where we live with intention, respect, and care. A world where we don’t just talk about sustainability, but embody it in how we eat, consume, relate, and grow. And I know that with persistence, empathy, and courage, we can get there—together.
