🧠 𝑴𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒂𝒍 𝑯𝒆𝒂𝒍𝒕𝒉 𝑨𝒘𝒂𝒓𝒆𝒏𝒆𝒔𝒔 𝑴𝒐𝒏𝒕𝒉 𝑺𝒑𝒐𝒕𝒍𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕!

At CWE-TECH, mental wellness is a key part of how we serve girls and women across different projects and communities. We know that meaningful impact requires not just technical skills, but emotional insight and empathy; and that begins with our team.

This week, we marked an important milestone in our partnership with Tafara Wellness Initiative: 𝗠𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵 𝗦𝗽𝗼𝘁𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁

𝗮 𝘃𝗶𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗖𝗪𝗘-𝗧𝗘𝗖𝗛 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗳𝗳, led by the 𝗧𝗮𝗳𝗮𝗿𝗮 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗶𝗻 𝗦𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝗳𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗮.

The training, thoughtfully informed by the Kenyan context, focused on equipping our staff with the tools they need to better support 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐯𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐩𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 – 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐚𝐝𝐨𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐠𝐢𝐫𝐥𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐰𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧'𝐬 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐩𝐬 𝐚𝐜𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐬 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐬.

This is just the beginning. We’re set to have a few more sessions with Tafara Wellness, deepening our team’s capacity to approach community engagement from a place of 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐮𝐦𝐚 𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐲, 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐰𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬.
