Seeking
Encouragement

There was a time when I thought my dreams had reached their end. I was struggling to pay my school fees, barely making rent, and the weight of financial burden was crushing the hope I had for my education. It felt like I was on the verge of giving up. But in that moment, something unexpected happened—a lifeline was thrown my way. My uncle offered to pay my fees, allowing me to continue my studies and reigniting the dreams that I thought were slipping away.
This moment transformed me. I realized then that I wasn’t the only girl struggling under the weight of financial pressure and societal expectations. In my community, countless girls face the same battles. Their dreams are often held hostage by poverty, lack of access to education, and the persistent belief that their voices don’t matter. But I am living proof that one act of support can change the course of a life, and this realization has fueled a deep commitment within me to speak out and create change for others.
I’ve committed to being a voice for girls who have been silenced by circumstances beyond their control. I know what it feels like to face obstacles that seem insurmountable, and I know the power of encouragement—the kind that keeps you going when the world feels like it’s closing in. Every girl deserves that kind of support, and I’m determined to be part of the solution.
The truth is, change doesn’t just happen by wishing it into existence—it requires action. It requires speaking out, even when it feels uncomfortable, and standing up for those who haven’t yet found their voice. I’ve taken on the responsibility to encourage young girls in my community, to let them know that they are not alone and that their dreams are valid. I want them to see that the barriers they face can be overcome.
One of the ways I’m creating change is by building safe spaces where girls can share their stories and support one another. I’ve learned that sharing our experiences is one of the most powerful tools we have to uplift each other. When a girl realizes she’s not alone in her struggles, it strengthens her resolve to push through. In these spaces, we exchange not only our challenges but also our hopes, and together, we build the confidence to keep striving.
I’ve also committed to mentorship. I’ve seen how life-changing it can be for a young woman to have someone who believes in her potential. Through mentorship, I’m helping girls see that education is not just a dream—it’s a right. I’m showing them that they can rise above their circumstances and become leaders in their communities, and that their voice, no matter how small it may seem, has the power to make an impact.
This journey is not just about empowering myself—it’s about empowering every girl who feels like the world has told her “no.” It’s about creating a ripple effect of encouragement, hope, and action that spreads far beyond my own story.
World Pulse has shown me the power of collective voices. It’s a platform where change begins with conversation, where ideas take root and become movements. I’m honored to be part of this global community of women who are unafraid to speak out and inspire others. My commitment is not just to my own journey but to the futures of countless girls whose voices deserve to be heard.
So, to every girl who feels silenced, to every woman who’s been told her dreams are too big, I say this: You matter. Your voice matters. And together, we can create the change we wish to see in the world.
Let’s lift each other up, speak out, and make sure that no girl is left behind. The future is ours to shape, and it starts now.
