I am an Afghan woman from the Hazara minority, currently navigating a high-risk environment in Quetta, Pakistan. Between 2016 and 2021, I served as a Field Researcher for Samuel Hall, documenting the lives of displaced women and children for global partners such as the World Bank, IOM, GIZ, DRC, and NRC. Beyond fieldwork, I am an active member of AWID and have successfully secured a grant from the Urgent Action Fund Asia & Pacific (UAF A&P). My background also includes training with USAID Promote and service at the Kabul International Airport. For me, peace is a necessity for survival and leadership. I am sharing my story to call for stronger international solidarity for Afghan and Hazara women. We are not just statistics; we are the leaders who hold the keys to lasting peace
