"She Was Never Allowed To Dream"

story
Seeking
Encouragement

She never asked for much.
Just a dream.
A little space to breathe.
A voice of her own.
But even that was too loud for the world around her.
They told her what to wear,
how to sit,
how to stay silent.
They told her love was shame,
ambition was pride,
and girls like her should only learn how to let go.
So she did.
She let go of their expectations.
Not her dreams.
They thought she was quiet…
But only because they never heard her soul scream at 2 a.m.
Only because they didn’t read the pages she filled with invisible ink the ones where she wrote:
“I want to become something.”
“I want to matter.”
“I want to be free.”
Not for revenge.
Not for rebellion.
Just for herself.
They told her to stop dreaming.
She smiled...
and dreamed harder.
And now?
She is still that same girl.
Fighting.
Hoping.
Loving.
Hurting.
Writing.
She doesn’t want applause.
She doesn’t want a stage.
She just wants a world where girls don’t have to hide their light to survive.
If you feel her story maybe, it’s yours too.
And if it is…
then remember:
You're not weak. You were just never allowed to be strong.
But now,
You can be.
