I once had a dream I couldn’t shake off.

A riverbed but not just any river.

It glowed with stars, like the sky had fallen and decided to flow.

I was walking barefoot. I remember the feeling soft, wet soil under my feet. And in the distance, but I could feel something watchingme something old.

I woke up confused. Curious. And like any other day I told my grandma.

I expected her to laugh, or say I was dreaming too much again. But she didn’t.

She paused. Looked at me with that quiet, old kind of wisdom.

Then she said:

“Not every dream is just a dream. Maybe there’s something inside you that’s paying attention more than your waking mind is.”

She didn’t call it prophecy.

She didn’t call it nonsense.

She just saw it for what it was a message, waiting to be honored.

At the time, I didn’t understand.

But now, I do.

That dream wasn’t just about ancestors or some mystic meaning.

It was my inner world speaking, in symbols.

It was the language of emotion, memory, and intuition.

For a long time, we’ve talked about mental health only in terms of stress, therapy, and thoughts.

But what about what we feel, and don’t yet have words for?

What about dreams the language of the subconscious and their link to memory, emotion, and healing?

It’s part of what inspired me to start building something called Nocti Weave Core a space that honors the emotional and cultural meaning of dreams

Sometimes, the mind doesn’t need more noise.

It needs space, safety, symbols.

Where people from different cultures can log their dreams, tag their emotions, and begin to understand what their minds are holding on to.

It’s not just about sleep.

It’s about emotional awareness.

It’s about mental wellness.

It’s about giving voice to the quiet parts of us.

And maybe, just maybe a dream you once had…
