When a Seed Finds the Sun
I grew up believing my voice was too small to change anything.
In our home, decisions were made in silence.
Dreams were folded neatly and placed in the darkest corners of our hearts, like clothes we never wore.
But one day, I met a woman who asked me a simple question:
"What do you truly want for your life?"
No one had ever asked me that before.
Her question felt like a seed planted in my chest.
At first, it was heavy.
I didn’t have the courage to water it.
I feared what would happen if my voice grew too loud.
Days turned into months.
And then life threw me into moments where silence was no longer safe.
I saw injustice.
I saw women holding their pain like it was their fault.
I saw myself in them.
So I spoke.
My words trembled, but they were real.
And every time I spoke, that seed inside me grew
Until it became a tree that could shelter others.
Today, I know that a single question, a single act of courage, can change everything.
We are not too small.
We are the roots of change.
And together, we can make a forest strong enough to stand against any storm.
Now I ask you — what seed is waiting inside your heart?
Share it.
Water it with your words.
Because the world needs your forest too
