#2 Studying whilst being low waste! :)

Happy Monday all! :)
Today I wanted to share some ideas to help with being low waste and sustainable whilst being a student!
Let's go!
1 - Use a tablet for working out
One of the subjects I am currently studying is Maths, which for me, requires a lot of working out and writing things down! I realised I was using a lot of paper for little scribblings so I have changed this habit into a more sustainable one! I use a note-taking app on my tablet to write out equations and problems. Then I can just use the erase tool and I have a clean slate! This means much less waste paper :)
2 - Use what you already have! (You don't need ANOTHER notebook) and reject the aesthetic
I have loads of notebooks hanging around as well as pens, sticky notes - basically everything I need to study successfully. Although it's very tempting to buy new pens for a new term, if you already have them at home, try to resist the cute stationery and use what you have. This will also help you save money :). When looking online, there are SO many videos and images of aesthetically pleasing stationary supplies and everything looks so perfectly put together. You do not need specific highlighters in order to get an A - you just need your brain for that!
3 - When your current notebooks/ journals/ diaries run out, transfer to using online ones!
We can use what we already have but when those diaries and study notebooks run out, try using an app to plan your life instead of purchasing another item. There's no recycling needed for an online calendar!
4 - Look at resources online/ on another device rather than printing it out
This is a great one if you have Dyslexia ( like me!) or any other learning difficulty - There are lots of extensions you can download to change the colour of a website, change the font and make it more accessible! Try "Helperbird" for free! It's a great one! Less printing means less waste!
5 - Use desk lights that are powered by rechargeable batteries!
6 - Remember to turn off lights/heaters etc when you are away from your desk
Thanks so much for reading! If you have any other ideas please comment down below!
As I transfer to online journals myself I will make a post with the best journaling and study planner apps later on in the year. :)
