3 Years of Walking with Worldpulse

What Worldpulse has come to mean to me!

For me, Worldpulse represents a platform where we can express ourselves, learn from each other and grow together as women and activists. It is a haven within the vast worldwideweb where we connect, find a sense of belonging and share a common identity while retaining our individuality. Interestingly, I have not met most of the people I communicate with, yet we have this bond and somehow manage to draw so much from each other. Since I joined Worldpulse in 2007, I have come to appreciate members as part of a large supportive family.

Logging onto Worldpulse is like visiting my sister’s house, where I can kick off my shoes, let my hair down and just be myself. Here, I can express my feelings, concerns, hopes and aspirations without fear of reprisal, knowing someone has walked that path and can offer some valuable advice. I can pour out my heart to a listening ear, find a shoulder to lean on and receive support for my dreams. Worldpulsers are a reservoir of knowledge whose collective experiences are helpful to me both at a personal and professional level. The openness and sincerity of Worldpulsers is enriching and humbling.
