WORLD TRADE CENTER AND THE PENTAGON 9/11 INTHE USA 2001

This moment shock the world back in 2001 it was a terrifying, starling and humbling event for USA it was the deadliest on the American soil since the pear harbor 60 years a go, the 9/11 attack in new York the busiest city on a busy working day and the staggering nature of the attack mean that footage captured almost everything as it happened . as a kid by then i dint know how bad that event was until 20 years later the impact of 9/11 is being felt up-to-date there has been war on terror, domestic long term effects of 9/11 as well thousands of people struggle with cancer and long lasting chronic health problems relating to toxicity from ground zero this is the site where the twin towers used to stand . this also changed how people travel how to we through tight security check before boarding a plane , most items have been prohibited on the plane , the tragedy of 9/11 will never be forgotten when the first plane struck an estimated 17,400 people were in the tower nobody survived above the impact zone and in the northern tower however it is said 18 managed to escape from the floors above the impact zone and citizen from over 77 different countries were among causalities new York lost 441 first responders thousands where injured or developed illness connected to the attack including firefighters who worked in toxic debris. all 246 passengers and crew aboard the 4 planes were killed at the twin tower over 2,606 people died or suffer server injuries that lead to their death its said the youngest victim was a 2 year old toddler while the oldest was 80 year old. we still feel the legacy of 9/11 from many people getting their visa denied when you want to travel to USA you have to go through lots of paper work they have to take your biometrics you have to book an appointment to go to the USA consulate , where you will go through multiple security check , they will take all your electronics and anything that can cause security threat during your visa interview when you get denied under section 214(b) the visa officer will tell you sorry you don't qualify for the visa or visa rules are very strict this is some of the 9/11 aftermath for you and me no matter how learned your going to the USA has become so strict their transport security administration created a strict beef up security at airport and on planes on their consulate, their streets their citizens. our children's children will still feel the pinch of 9/11 the way they travel ,do business , make friends they will read it on their history books see pictures on you tune and Facebook, on how it erode the sense of community or national security, damaged moral and cohesion and open the racial or ethnicity discrimination, economic and religious cracks that exist in our society .9/11 reshaped USA immigration policies and led to a surge in discrimination, racial profiling and hate crime . if you and your family are a holder of a third world country passport no matter how rich and famous your , no matter how big businesses you have you will still be look down at , good example Aliko Dangote shared his frustration every time he has to travel abroad , yet he is the richest man in the world . most people don't know how big 9/11 birthed so many things that changed the world . so as we mark 23 years since it happens as responsible adult i learn so much from it especially from many people getting their visa denied after paying so much money for visa fee then waiting for a year for visa interview that is not guaranteed people go through depression that lead to death because they have been denied visa to travel to USA to burry their close family member just because the embassy denied them visa for no good reason . i know someone who works for UN was denied a USA visa , yet her passport had an active Schengen visa it was really sad she missed an important event that was sponsored . so to you and me that think 9/11 was nothing go do your reach and read more you be so humble and ends up understanding most things we take for granted the 9/11 did not only affect USA it affected you and me and our daily lives , our community our projects , our food ,our mental health this is something we need to create awareness with our peers , our friends , in those small community groups the impact is so big and it will never go a way no matter how we don't talk loud about it. its only when you get denied visa is when you start questioning yourself what did you do , is your country marked red meaning full of terrorist activities ,or terrorist are hiding there selling guns illegally , recruiting young boys and girls in terror activities .9/11 has really changed how USA view many countries and to find our more about countries they suspect of doing terror they will use their highly intelligence surveillance to have information they are looking thats why they come up with visa ban for individuals or countries they will also not have consulate in countries with terror because they know what terror feels like , this 23 rd 9/11 anniversary is a reminder to all that our lives will never be the same again . and more 9/11 after math will be imposed indirectly to all that want to go to USA for leisure , work, studies ,settlement the consequences will always caught up with you in your daily life no matter how we pretend that its not our business and yes its our business that will live with for the rest of our daily lives
