DoubleServ Training is a social enterprise that empowers girls in Nairobi, Kenya. As part of our responsibility to bring change in the community we serve, we empower young girls in Africa’s largest urban slum, Kibera, into becoming leaders in their communities. We offer them digital skills that help them to turn their dreams into reality.
We give back to the community through youth empowerment programs aimed at helping the young girls get jobs or start their own businesses.
In line with this great cause, we are planning to integrate website design and digital marketing training and the need for computers is huge. We are asking if you can share our story or support us.
We need 20 computers urgently! A huge number of students, especially those who just finished high school, need computer training. We want to support them through skills training.
We accept both new or used computers for our lab.
Partnering with us means:
1) 240 girls will learn computer skills from professional IT experts
2) Girls will get professional website design, domain and hosting, digital marketing skills like search engine optimization, social media marketing, video marketing and other skills like website security and backup, among other skills. These skills will also help them to do freelance work.
3) Girls will start thinking outside the box and start changing their community.
