Seeking
Connections

Hi👋🏾 My name is Khanyisile, and I’m from South Africa. The name Khanyisile originates from the Nguni word "khanya," which means "light." In isiZulu (my home language), Khanyisile directly translates to "has brought light." According to my father, he gave me this name because he believed I brought light into their world.✨️
I am a proud mother to a smart and beautiful daughter. I am deeply passionate about culture, education, language, and technology. As a growth mindset advocate and a firm believer in holistic personal development, I strive to empower others. I am also a serial entrepreneur and the founder of Akari Connect.
Akari Connect was born in 2017—though it might have had a different name back then🤭—and was officially launched in 2024. The word Akari is Japanese for "light/bright," which translates to "khanya" in Nguni and Khanyisile in isiZulu. You see where I’m going with this?😁 I believe Akari Connect will be a source of light and a beacon of hope for single mothers. Through Akari Connect, I aim to guide single mothers in navigating their journeys with grace, inspire and encourage them, and build a community where they are celebrated, uplifted, and thriving.✨️💖
One of the things I love most about South Africa is its rich tapestry of culture and diversity.❤️ I discovered WorldPulse on Facebook while searching for a platform to connect with other women—especially single mothers. I’m thrilled to be here because, after much searching, I truly believe I’ve found the perfect space. I’m looking forward to connecting, networking, and collaborating with like-minded individuals! 🫶🏾🌎
