A Letter of Encouragement to My World Pulse sister

Dear World Pulse Sister,

Today, I’m writing not just as a fellow sister in the journey of change, but as someone who deeply sees you—your courage, your stories, your sleepless nights, and your relentless hope for a better world. I write as someone who has been encouraged by you. I want to encourage you in return.

Each time I read your stories—of struggle, of triumph, of heartbreak and healing—I am reminded that the world is full of powerful women rising. Women who refuse to be silenced, who find strength in their scars, and who transform their pain into purpose. Women making a difference. You are one of those women.

I know the road isn’t easy. Sometimes it feels like you are shouting into the wind, waiting for someone to notice your work. You pour your heart into your communities, organize campaigns, speak up for the voiceless, and dream of justice and dignity for all—but still, resources are scarce, support feels far away, and change seems too slow. And that makes you discouraged.

I must tell you that you encouraged me. I read your stories and believed that I can, because you could hold on that long. I saw resilience and patience in you. I am encouraged. You sparked a fire in me with your flame. It was you that made me try telling my story. You made it not look as hard as I thought. And when I stuttered, you didn't laugh, you didn't judge. Instead, you told me to go on. Your face looked like you were interested in what I had to say. That was my turning point. I just have to tell.

Please don’t stop now. Don’t stop telling your stories. Don’t stop building, even when the bricks feel heavy. Don’t stop believing in your vision, even if others don’t yet see it. Don't back down from holding up for those who have no means to do so. Your shoulders are the ladder they all will climb. You are the one holding the torch, it will be utter darkness when your hands give way.

You never know who is reading your words and finding the strength to rise. I am one. You never know which seed you plant today will bloom tomorrow. I am one and I know there are many more. The support you long for may not come when you expect it, but if you stay rooted in your truth, it will come. The right eyes, the right ears, the right doors—they will open.

Our stories are power. They shift perceptions, awaken empathy, and ignite movements. They remind the world that we exist, we matter, and we are doing the work that many fear to begin. So write. Speak. Share your truth, even if your voice shakes. Even if you feel small. You are not small—you are the ripple that starts the waves we all are experiencing.

To the sister teaching girls in rural schools, to the one speaking against injustice, to the one mending fences, to the one fundraising to the healer, the mentor, the dreamer—your work matters. You matter. Your fire is needed in this world. And when you feel tired, when the world feels indifferent, remember you are not alone. We are a global chorus, echoing each other’s strength.

One day, the world will look back and see that it was women like you who changed everything. Though now they don't know,Keep going, my sister. Keep building, keep sharing, keep shining, keep speaking. We are listening. I am with .We are with you. You have come too far to give up now. You will get there. And because you will, we will!

With deep love and solidarity,

Jefiter Mang
