A message of strength to our young ones

Hello ladies....

I thought i should let you know...

On Tuesday i joined the Department of Gender in the Central region of Ghana on a mentorship program to three rural communities.

Our mission was to energize the girls and boys together to stay in school and pursue their dreams. I was a mentor.

They were great. They opened up to us.

Ask our parents why they don't buy sanitary pads for us...one of them asked.

There were a lot issues to talk about. We also spoke to the parents and encouraged them to support their children through school.

It was a very inspiring trip. We hope to help in our small way to get them where they want to be.
