This day marks a milestone in my journey as a social entrepreneur and grassroots changemaker — I was invited to share my story on Bangladesh Television (BTV), our national public broadcaster.

It wasn’t just an interview. It was a moment of reflection, gratitude, and purpose. Sitting under the bright studio lights, I wasn’t just representing myself — I was carrying the voices of thousands of underprivileged children, women, and youth whose lives we’ve touched through Sombhabona, the organization I co-founded in 2011.

For over a decade, we’ve worked from the ground up — in slums, remote villages, and forgotten communities — using education, skills training, and social business as tools for dignity and empowerment. This invitation to BTV’s Alokito Tarunno (Enlightened Youth) was not only a recognition of our work, but also a reminder that grassroots stories matter, and they deserve to be heard on national platforms.

I am deeply thankful to the team behind the program, especially the host and producers, who made space for voices like ours. And to the changemakers around the world: may we continue to rise, one story at a time.
