The first Autism Africa conference ,and I got to share my journey as a mother of a ND child .How ICT has been helping her and many more like her integrated in to not only schooling but also her mental,reproductive and sexual health .
When I first joined World Pulse it was a forum for me to lend my voice by writing what ails me as I had kept shut for so long ..
I am grateful that I have fully documented my methodology and experiences of bringing her up ..
UJ is also the official university to be rolling out course’s focusing on neurodiversity in teaching.So all those notes of our daily routine as her Mom ,and all those innumerable experiences that have enriched the support group of mom's I belong to,will now be learnt,refreshed and understood to a wider forum,not only for further research but to create an accepting inclusive society ..
This is one of the many first but Those who knows me can rest assured ,it won't be the last .Technology is here to better our lives and connect us to share and acknowledge
