The cry of a woman in labour can pierce the quiet of the night. It is something to behold and a lot to tread. Working in hospital, I have seen women in labour and I grow scared knowing that one day I will be one of them. They carry not only their pain but that of the child, their focus so selfless. Olutosin once told me that when a woman is pregnant, she is filled with worry every second during the nine months. With this, I know women endure a lot knowing that the pain will give rise to joy. Delivering successfully makes everything worthwhile, think of the tread a mother feels when her new born child ends up dead. It's unimaginable. Women are worthy of celebrating because they take chances for the one they love against all odds.
