AIDS without Assistance for Rural women and girls?

Just pondering over the death of a cousine who died and left three ophans. When women can't decide on their sexuality, condoms and sensitisations funds would sum up to anti-retroviral drugs. BUT, are they accesseable to all comeronian communities?

My bulky sister I missed. My mourning nices I console but what feauture for these who are left to their grand parents? Father is gone and mother has followed. My cousine could not resist her infected husband.She had no pro-active authority to rush to, in her enclosed world of a wife, came the cold embrace of death first for her 2months old baby boy,then for her very life. This woman was obliged to give her infected husband and family a baby boy.Who was she to question her husbands health status dispite his promisquity? All she was, was a sex mate,reproductive machine and child rearer.
For fear of "divorce and disgrace to her self and mother" she often said, her mother,my aunt saw her remains gently lowered to her final resting place, the grave,a silent and calm home for voiceless people. World pulse has given us a voice to speak up,No more graves due to silences as voices continue to rise.

This plight might seem singular but I assure you, in about every 10 rural women or girls in cameroon,there are high chances that 2 will or have fallen into the same prey.We are speaking up and will speak up.
it is high time policy makers reflect on issues of sexuality,family law and womens right and incorporate them into the struggle against HIV/AIDS. Its not all about promisquity,infidelity rape or what ever, domestic violence and husband-wife rape has a great role to play for rural women and girls
