To my utter amazement, I was able to chat with women in Somalia, Colombia, South Africa and the Ivory Coast today. The marvelous 2010 Correspondents keep making my life better and better! I seriously half-laughed, half-cried today as I introduced these wonderful women to each other over Skype. The power of Web 2.0 to connect women across the globe, is more than apparent to me. As I continue my journey as the program manager for Voices of Our Future, I am gaining more than professional skills and experience--I am gaining a whole new community of women whose voices inspire me to be a better person, to speak louder, and to continue striving to achieve my vision. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart!
