Assignment 1 - Digital Storytelling

When I tell you I was inspired, I was inspired.

In this century, issues arise fast. Whether it is a large-scale issue or a minor issue, all are harming our earth and its inhabitants. That includes us humankind. If we keep silent, how else would we resolve our issues, and find our community? How much longer can we stand, suffering instead of aiding to solve a problem before it's too late?

Storytelling is a powerful tool, and this tool can support us to aid others. A skill embedded within each of us, waiting for us to unlock it and hone the skill. It was always and will be within our grasp. As a person who loves to write about the beauties of the world and the heartaches it can provide, I never considered that it could be my account of how I view the world. The consideration of how important this skill is practiced and grown into the storytelling we know of. Storytelling is passed down from multiple generations and eras of history. It is a skill of the arts and practicalities. It may romanticize the world we live in, or call out the issues through a form we call as stories.

It can cause us to be hesitant as the stories can reach within our souls. Yet, to tell a story can be beneficial. It allows us to bring out our ambitions and challenges, gaining support, a community, and the necessities required to achieve a goal. Using WorldPulse has helped me gain a sense of comfort and security in my writing. Though using it fairly recently, the community was welcoming, it was supportive. Truly, it aided me in wanting to write more stories to share with the world. It may even aid you to write your own.

However, writing a story must all come from one's will and determination. As I was inspired, I do wish that all storytellers, previous and new, to be inspired to speak out their truths and their views. One that does not harm, but one that brings the necessary audiences and attention one wishes.
