A) IMPACT:

It is often used in a broad term to mean the changes a person would like to make in their community, country or even in the world .

The desire to make an impact is what usually drives individuals to take action.

As individuals take action to drive change in their various communities or countries it is essential that they measure their impact.

WHY MEASURING IMPACT IS IMPORTANT ?

Measuring their impact is essential for the following reasons;

1. MOTIVATION; measuring your impact will help you to see the difference you’re making with your work & keep you motivated. Big and lasting change takes time and may require motivation
2. LEARNING; it will help you learn from your mistakes and improve the actions you take. If something is not working an individual can always make adjustments.
3. DEMONSTRATION; it is also a way for an individual to demonstrate their work to others, including potential funders. If they have a great idea, they can always show that in makes an impact that can appeal to people who want to invest.
