My name is Jackie...

I am the Founder/CEO of Agwammawomen Outreach Africa which was concieved during my years as a Newspaper columnist/Editor with various newspapers in Nigeria.

I find myself developing passion and writing articles focused on issues concerning women empowerment and girlchild welfare.

My various publications in Newspapers years back transformed into women empowerment campaigns where i met small groups of women welfare and visited girls high schools privately to observe life styles of teenage girls while at school. My discovery then wasn't impressive hence, my decision to cater and educate the teenage girls in Africa with my little resources i had then.

My women group activities were sponsored solely by me and i had so much fulfillment seeing women who came to me for mentoring in one aspect of life or the other, happy and empowered.

In the area of girlchild empowerment, i organized series of seminars where i talked about dangers of early sex.

Up till today, the problem of teenage girls getting pregnant, dropping out of school or becoming single moms are still with us. How could a teenager who needs care turn out to be having a baby herself? What does she know about motherhood?

All these agony would have been prevented if our parents and school authorities aren't shy and avoiding Sex Education both at home and at schools.

Teenage girls welfare is a major part of my Gender advocacy activities/projects and i would love to expand my teenage life sex Education Campaigns in any African country i find myself.

The good thing about my advocacy is my ability to reach out to my targets with my media communications career expertise and experience.

In Malawi, this campaign is very relevant because there is high level of teenage school drop outs due to early teenage sex that, in turn leads to pregnancy that, leads to girls stopping their high school education.

Our campaigns will be in conjunction with our Mensuration hygiene awareness program since we are also focusing more on teenage girls on this project area.

We will really appreciate the global sisters support in empowering us achieving these campaigns in Malawi thereby reducing teenage pregnancy, school drop outs and improving health care of our teenagers during their monthly flow.๐Ÿ™๐Ÿงก
