Been away from work

For the past few weeks i have had the privillege to travel across the country for various retreats and workshops which are in line with the work i do. This has been reason for my loud silence. Its been an amazing experience meeting so many people who are behind the implementation of various activities which spread outreach on awareness of HIV/AIDS in Kenya. We sometimes dont think much about such campaigns or activities done unless perhaps they affect a loved one, but only until I got to sit down to analyse whether or not there was any impact made to the real people that were targeted. I am guilty of being a part of the people who sit at their desks in comfort and do the paperwork not paying attention to how it all comes together to get to the affected people. I visited a rural clinic which was a true eye opener seeing the work they do. I can only thank God for providing resources to various donors involved in these and many other projects out there which are making a difference one person at a time around the world.
