Ethical fashion makes more than one statement. It's unique, it's pretty, but most of all, it's sustainable. Not just for the environment, but for communities & future generations too.

I was in an abusive relationship for 20 years & you can forget about love…how good love can feel. I’ve never felt more love than at Fashion & Compassion.” –Mona

Fashion & Compassion is a non-profit* based in Charlotte, North Carolina, co-founded by Michele Dudley & Celeste Bundy. We have 6 projects around the world & its our goal to connect caring consumers with vulnerable artisans to bring dignity through economic empowerment.

We serve women who are survivors of human trafficking, substance abuse, immigration, homelessness & domestic violence. These are real women, with real struggles, just like Mona.

When we met Mona, she was sitting on her front porch, afraid to leave her home. Through a small conversation with another artisan, Mona felt lead to attend our weekly jewelry project. She’s been coming every week for the last 2 ½ years & through the friendships she’s made, Mona has gained a community with other survivors & enough self-confidence to become a Sales Associate at our boutique!

She’s using her story of triumph to inspire others & it’s been a privilege to walk alongside her as she heals, not just physically, but spiritually & emotionally too.

Mona once expressed to us that she’s “beginning to live again & sees light in the midst of darkness,” and it’s those moments that drive us to serve the vulnerable & to fully invest in their quality of life.

If you want to help women like Mona, you can check out our products & learn more about our mission at www.fashionandcompassion.com.

*We donate ALL of our net proceeds back to our partners to further meet the needs of our artisans & the communities we serve. In the last three years, we’ve had the opportunity to give back over $200,000 & that money has been used to
