Seeking
Encouragement

Hello, World Pulse community,
My name is Kirilka, but most people call me Kiki.
I’m joining World Pulse because I want to expand my network — to learn, to exchange stories, and to work alongside others who care deeply about change. I’m here to grow — not just professionally, but as a human being with purpose, questions, and an open heart.
I come from Bulgaria, where I’ve spent the last 18+ years working at the intersection of education, youth empowerment, and human rights. Most recently, I served as the Executive Director of the alumni organization for the top tech school in Bulgaria — a role that pushed me into every corner of leadership: fundraising, marketing, partnerships, community-building, program design, and yes — even late-night cleanups after events. I was the engine, the heart, and often, the shock absorber. And I loved it.
Beyond my professional life, I’m the proud mother of a dazzling 13-year-old figure skater whose elegance and determination leave me in awe. Watching her has taught me that legacy isn’t a job title or a milestone — it’s who you lift as you rise. It's the child who dares to chase a dream because she saw you chase yours.
Today, I call myself many things: mentor, international trainer, lifelong learner. I’ve worked with over 1,000 young people from vulnerable communities — from foster care to chronic illness to underserved youth with brilliant startup ideas. I’ve been called a changemaker, a mentor, and — my personal favorite — a "soul with structure."
But more than anything, I’m a woman in transition. A dreamer with deadlines. A work in progress.
What inspires me? The subtle, sacred moments when someone finds their voice. When a room of strangers turns into a community. When a young person takes the mic and realizes her words matter.
So here’s my question to you:
What did you have to let go of in order to grow?
Greetings,
Kiki
