Beyond Baking: Teaching Women to Rise Financially and Personally

Today, through my association, I led my second pastry training session for girls and women in my community. But this time, I added something even more powerful: a financial literacy session, based on what I personally learned from World Pulse. Yes, I was trained for free, and in turn, I chose to share that knowledge freely.

It wasn’t just about baking. It was about giving them the tools to grow in the kitchen and in life.

Each participant received an apron, a small but meaningful gift they can now use in their own kitchens. The smiles on their faces said it all, they were proud, motivated, and eager to put their new skills into practice. They are eager to learn more, not only how to bake, but how to manage money, save, and grow. We talked about budgeting, saving, and how they can start small income-generating activities with the skills they now have.

I want to sincerely thank World Pulse for its ongoing support and inspiration. Your platform gives us the strength to dream bigger, act boldly, and uplift our communities.

We’re not just baking- we’re building futures. And I’m committed to continuing this journey, one woman, one skill, one step at a time.
