✨ This week, I stepped into a space that reminded me how powerful collective action can be. I had the opportunity to attend Climafix’25 – India’s largest Climate Startup Summit at IIT Madras Research Park.
As a biocentric architect, my journey has always been about reimagining how design can exist in harmony with nature. But being part of Climafix’25 stretched my perspective far beyond architecture—it allowed me to see how people across industries are driving climate action through bio-solutions, energy efficiency, AI, deep tech, and translational research.
💚 Day 0 began with a campus facility tour, where we explored how research centers are built to nurture climate-focused startups. For me, it wasn’t just about the facilities—it was about feeling the pulse of a community that believes in ideas powerful enough to change the world.
💚 Day 1 was overwhelming and inspiring. A huge auditorium, filled with startup founders, professionals, and investors—all driven by a shared goal of climate action. I found myself both learning and belonging. The stories of innovation were diverse, yet they all echoed one message: the future can be reimagined if we act now.
💚 Day 2 deepened the journey. I connected, reflected, and carried back more than just knowledge—I carried hope, friendships, and a sense of solidarity.
Walking away, I felt something shift inside me. As women, professionals, and changemakers, we often wonder if our voices will matter in global conversations. At Climafix’25, I saw proof that they do. Each connection I made reminded me that collaboration is not just valuable, but necessary.
🌍 I return with a renewed commitment: to keep weaving biocentric design principles into the larger climate movement, and to remind myself and others that even in small steps, we are contributing to a global wave of change.
💌 To my friends here on World Pulse: I’d love to hear your stories. How are you contributing to climate action in your own communities? Let’s share, learn, and amplify each other’s journeys—because together, our voices are unstoppable.
