Bleeding Corpse

How do you sleep at night?

While I lay cold and lifeless

I warned you I might not survive it

But you talked me into it

The promises you made

The love you professed

Was it true or a trap to lure me into your bed?

That defined my end?

When did your heart stop beating for me?

That you prioritized your reputation

In exchange for my life

You killed us

All we wanted was love, you

A happily there-after

Not a grave decorated with roses

They were meant to celebrate its arrival

I lay here

Convincing myself it is just a nightmare

That I will wake up

And embrace my mistakes

I yearned for motherhood

And when I got there

My stupidity

Took it away from me

I haven’t rested well

My heart bleeds not because I left

But because I denied my baby

A chance to live, dream, and fulfill itself

In the event, it wakes

I pray it forgives me

Since we both left together

Even though you meant to separate us

I forgive you

Not because you deserve it

But because I fear for your life

In the event, it decides to haunt you

Love is not mean

Love is beautiful

So in the event, it finds you again

Be generous enough to let it blossom

SAY NO TO ABORTION, EVERY LIFE IS IMPORTANT!!!
