Bleeding heart

A young girl trying to adapt to societal demand

My heart is heavy as I am writing this . As I have grown up , it feels like whatever I say, whatever I do is termed attention seeking or victim mentality just because I am a woman . Also , in a patriarchial society, the one I am living in , I have zero autonomy over the major life decisions of mine . My voice is silenced and I have been told " Good women just obey " whatever others say . I am so so tired . Like I have to be pretty but mute . Constant body shaming, being objectified, every movement heavily scrutinized; I can't even breathe properly. It seems like I haven't even breathed properly ever .
