Encouragement

Hello, my name is Mouna.
I am writing today to share my story—one of survival, persistence, and the hope for a better future. This is not an easy post to write, but I believe in the power of sharing our experiences to create connection and inspire change.
Despite earning prestigious degrees and working tirelessly to build a life of stability and independence, I have found myself trapped in a cycle of financial violence and systemic neglect. My family has been a source of control and abuse, using finances as a weapon to keep me powerless. This has left me unable to escape their grasp and move toward the independence I desperately want.
For years, I have tried everything within my power to create change. I’ve applied to thousands of jobs, reached out to dozens of organizations, and worked on improving my skills and education. But no matter how much effort I put in, the system continues to fail me. Rejection after rejection has left me feeling invisible, as if my hard work and achievements don’t matter. It’s a deeply isolating and disheartening experience.
Why I’m Here
I joined World Pulse because I need a safe space to share my truth and connect with others who may understand this kind of struggle. For so long, I’ve carried this burden alone, feeling like I couldn’t speak openly about what I was facing. But I’ve come to realize that staying silent only allows these systems of neglect and violence to persist.
I am here because I believe in the power of community. I believe that by sharing our stories and supporting one another, we can create opportunities for healing and empowerment. I hope to find advice, encouragement, and solidarity from others who have faced similar challenges. And in return, I want to be a source of support for anyone who feels trapped, powerless, or forgotten.
What I Dream Of
My dream is simple yet feels so far away: I want to build a life of stability, dignity, and independence. I want to break free from the control of financial violence and create a future where I can thrive on my own terms.
I also dream of a world where people like me—women and men who are vulnerable and struggling—are not abandoned by the systems that promise to protect and empower us. Education, opportunity, and support should not be reserved for the privileged or lucky few. Everyone deserves the chance to rebuild their life, regardless of their circumstances.
A Call for Connection
If you’ve ever faced similar challenges, or if you have advice on how to build financial independence and stability, I would love to hear from you. Your experiences, insights, and encouragement could make a world of difference for me—and for anyone else who might read this post and feel less alone in their struggles.
If you are just here to listen and share your solidarity, that means just as much. Knowing that there are people out there who care and understand gives me hope that change is possible, even in the darkest moments.
A Message of Gratitude
Thank you for taking the time to read my story. Writing this has been an emotional but empowering step for me, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to share my truth with this incredible community.
This is my first post on World Pulse, and I hope it will be the beginning of a journey filled with connection, understanding, and growth. Together, I believe we can create a world where no one feels trapped, invisible, or forgotten.
With hope and gratitude,
Mouna
