Breaking rules

In my last post I have shared a simple poetry dedicated to my baby. I have baby girl will turn to one next month.

I want to share my experience during pregnancy. I was qualified  well settled person, I have concerned about other women who are not able to understand and not able to ask questions.

So many myths about the pregnancy is there in our society in India, where I am staying in town place.

I have started reading weekly development of baby and I was having food as per requirement. I was very clear with my balanced mind and body.

However, I struggle with lots of questions and advise given by others, even who has not single child.

I advise to not eat some specific food which I understand was it's a personal matter as per body requirement. But  women most of the time advise me, do and don't s.

Whenever I go to market with my made, I purchased fruits and veggies what I eat regular but every time she asked me to not eat at least one fruit or vegetable. No papayas, no pineapple. No more milk otherwise baby will get creamy body which is difficult her to come out.

My neighbor anty told not to eat blue berries (jamun), and the dangerous advise given by her was, when labor pain start I have to eat egg shell powder with water, baby will come out easily. Oh god! I was not eating eggs as I was not feeling better with that and that advise was really horrible for me.

The funniest thing happened when someone also advise what make your baby's skin fair. I thought I am also not so fair , I am accepted by people and society  So what if my baby will not fair?

It's not end with only food, even some community members also suggest not to wear specific dress and saree.

It's a end less in nine months, I am so much worried about other women who can not ignore this kind of advise because of their knowledge.

At last, I will sum up with my own experience, I had all kind of food but healthy food. Did so much reading. And, I was doing yoga and meditation every day.

And ,I have blessed with wonderful angel, with smily face.
