Brilliant Op-eds

I have been reading the most recent op-ed submission all morning. They are strong, powerful, and insightful. With each story you write, your audience is gaining a deeper understanding and connections to your countries. Bravo!

Corine will once again be selecting at least 3 op-eds for publication through World Pulse editorial channels. Op-eds that were submitted on-time or that received approval for an extension are eligible. Additionally, Cristi and Katie will also be selecting op-eds to publish on their sites.

What's next? Our final month together will be devoted to writing a feature story and learning to harness web 2.0 to reach a wider audience. Scott and I will be posting your learning material at the top of next week. In the meantime, start thinking of an angle for your feature story. Is there a recent event in your community or country that has received a lot of media coverage? Can you provide a more in-depth analysis of the event? What about a topic you covered in one of your three assignments?

It might be helpful to go back and review the material from month one.

Don't hesitate to start pitching your story angles to each other for feedback.

Love,
Jennifer
