mass- kidnapping of chibok girls in boarding school back in APRIL 2014 with the use of social media platform #click everything changed thanks to collaboration of women group activists that came together to show the young victim of kidnap that they were not alone

slogan 'BRING BACK OUR GIRLS ' was started in nigeria as a coalition of women's group and women activists in APRIL 2014 after Boko haram as its known stormed girls boarding school and kidnapped over 300 young girls. this was high -profile mass abduction in the year 2014 that ended up sparking global outrage and it led to the #BOBOG social media campaign .the kidnapping of those young girls impacted the nigerian communities and especially women who are vulnerable and afraid because the little control girls and women are left with are lost. with the kidnap while at school brought fear to women and girls most families with girl child saw no need of taking then to school they saw need of educating their female children because most boko haram victims were girls and women. the kidnapping attracted the attention of international community that tried to do what it takes to see the young girls coming back home to their family healthy and safe. between the year 2016 - 2017 over 108 were rescued by the military or freed through prison swap, corruption , paying ransom i bet more women would have been rescued but because of poor civil military relation in the war against this extremist group BOKO HARAM while about 20 more managed to escape harrowing conditions in the hands of this dangerous extremist group so called 'BOKO HARAM. among the girls who managed to escape are now facing challenges and post trauma syndrome to restart their lives from being abused sexually and becoming a young mother , forced to convert their religion through forceful oath taking , raped repeatedly sometimes they would fight each other in their confinement that lead to death of weaklings ,injuries and the spread of communicable sickness among them . building back their life to normal has never been easy. with the help different women groups that come together to nature them back to normal lives ,by offering free therapy session to every girl rescued , most of them are forced to motherhood their babies too need medication , good nutrition and lots of care because since birth they have been lock in an confinement for long period of time they don't look healthy.lots of this girls have been enrolled in different programs that train them some vocational skills just to heal their midst from trauma they keep remembering when they are left alone SO as this heinous act of mass - kidnapping towards young girls while in school 'mark (10) its worth noting that the women group coming to gether with the slogan of bring their girls home played a vital role of remembering the victims that they were not forgotten and not alone even though it took time to attract the attention of the international community it was a double edged when the elite women took the slogan on their social media platform and with over million subscribers it created a big impact in the issue most of the young girls have been returned home but still over 90 are still missing . most parents to young girls missing have died waiting for their little babies to come home every year they come together to pray for their safe return, some do ritual hopping their girls would show up but nothing turns positive . one parent died clinging to a picture of her little girl who was( 11 )by then she cried each and everyday regretting why she took her daughter to boarding school that snatched her from her, she regret not telling her how much she loved her the last time she was home for school holiday depression killed that mother .and as a parent to two little girls that i love and care about so much i really feel bad for those young girls and all they went through with nobody to help fight the bad militia every day i look at my girls and tell them they are loved and cared for they are the reason i work hard, they are the reason i will always stand up to my fellow girls and women when need be . the reason i create a wareness to my community the need of educating a girl child, the importance of of what little education can do to the next generation, there are big difference between families that gave better education to girl child in our society things like maternal mortality have to do with the fact that women don't know what to do lack of education impact infant mortality.imagine your parent never attended education , then you were not taken to school then your children's children will follow the same trend .the chain has to be broken because educated woman are strong woman in the community .with what happend to girls 10 yrs a go in nigeria should never again happen in any country every gender deserve to live in a safe environment without the fear of being killed , kidnapped , sexually assaulted just because they are female everyone has a right to say no to extremist groups that take advantage of one gender in the community .i look forward to the survivors of boko haram mass abduction to be the leading great women with voice world wide , i look forward to day those women calling every "boko haram ' leaders and syperthazizers with their names to be prosecuted and brought to justice over what they did to them when they were just teen girls looking forward to being teachers , doctors , nurses , news anchors, editors and lawyers . sweet girls in school learning for their upcoming future not forcefully turned into mothers from being kidnapped and confident in one place taken advantage of just because they are women and they don't deserve to be in school .boko haram should be labeled a terrorist group i bet it is !! and every women should always protected from their inhumane harbid of taking them with them during mass abduction .
