Building Healing Communities: Reflections on Completing the Trauma Solution Training with

This past week has been a beautiful milestone for me and our team at CWE-TECH. We had our final training session for the Trauma Solution Project in partnership with Tafara Wellness. We have now received our certificates, which we are very grateful for.

When I look back at the journey, I see how transformative this experience has been, not just for me but for all of us who took part. The training wasn’t just about theory; it was about learning how to truly hold space for people who have experienced trauma and how to walk with them safely through their healing process.

In our last session, we learned trauma solution techniques and trauma resolution commands, practical, compassionate ways to help someone process a painful incident without retraumatizing them. We didn’t just study them; we practiced. We started with role-plays to understand how these conversations should flow. Then we did something even more meaningful: we used these trauma resolution commands on one another in real breakout rooms on Google Meet.

We listened. We shared. We processed real stories, our own stories. It was emotional, raw, and healing. I’ll never forget how much courage everyone showed and how much empathy we offered each other.

The trainers emphasized that the work doesn't end here. We’ve been encouraged to continue supporting one another as accountability partners, checking in beyond the training sessions. Healing is not a one-day event—it’s a community commitment.

I feel so grateful for this partnership, for my fellow trainees, and for the amazing trainers from Tafara Wellness who guided us so patiently and kindly. Receiving that certificate isn’t just about finishing a program. For me, it’s a promise to keep showing up for others in their healing journey—and to keep growing myself.

We’re also excited to invite you to our free public webinar on “How to Take Care of Your Mental Health,” scheduled for 8th July. Everyone is welcome to join. Check out the poster below. Thank you!
