Case study of 74 year old lady Dakhabai under NTPC IHHL project at district Baran, Rajsthan, India
Sh Radheyshyam Mehra S/o Sh Mathura Lal Mehra constructed IHHL( Individual Household Toilet) under NTPC ( National Thermal Power Corporation-A Government of India Undertaking) CSR project. He lives in Ratadiya village of Anta Block of district Baran, Rajasthan. Gramin Vikas Trust ( GVT) - a National level Development Organization, promoted by KRIBHCO, constructed a toilet at his home by giving material, technical inputs and skilled labor support and he gave his labor contribution in kind. He has many problems in his life. He has one son Mr Sons who is 22 years old and is handicapped since childhood. Her mother is also 74 years old and was facing problems due to old age in open defecation. After execution of the project by GVT with the financial support from NTPC, his life has changed specially his son & old age mother. Due to the problem of open defecation she was eating less so that she doesn’t have to go outside time and again, but now she is very much happy as her issue has been resolved.
