Our project <a href="/hashtags/celebratingafricancaribbeansinsussexpastandpresent">#CelebratingAfricanCaribbeansinSussexpastandpresent</a> can be seen <a href="https://issuu.com/tonykalume/docs/booklet_layout" rel="nofollow">Here</a> we are happy to share the lessons gained from this project which looked at 10 individuals who lived and are living in Sussex. This project came about due to the lack of Role models and mentors that are not Footballers,Movie Stars or Musicians forge BME youths. We looked for everyday people who we meet on the street coupled with little known individuals who have made a difference in the community. The exhibition consists of 5x stand alone banners that have a short excerpt from the celebrant and a booklet to encourage further research.
