Child care to Save Young lives : Honor of Jayden Lee

An extremely Unpopular opinion — I think well-child check-ups should be made mandatory. .We have no idea how the primary caregiver can have serious mental health issues .We don't know our neighbours or have any idea of the mental state of the person on whose care our child is when we are out working. .

I know that some people may think that they are a waste of time, but these appointments can potentially save lives. They are often the only opportunity a healthcare provider has to spot early signs of abuse, neglect, developmental delays, or any other health issues a child may have.

So many child neglect cases go undetected simply because the child was never seen by a doctor. A significant number of the severe abuse cases that are actually making headlines often involve kids who hadn't had regular check-ups.

These visits aren’t just a box to check — they help keep kids safe, supported, and on track both physically and emotionally.

Making well-child check-ups mandatory could literally SAVE LIVES. 🤍.

Another case that shocked me after Joselyn Smith made me write this .
