Children under the umbrella of peace education

As part of the Regional Peace Mechanism for Communities from the Left Bank of the Dniester, a dedicated peace education seminar was organized for children, aiming to nurture values of tolerance, mutual respect, and constructive dialogue from an early age.

The seminar brought together children from different communities in an interactive and inclusive environment where they explored the meaning of peace through engaging activities, group discussions, and creative exercises. Through storytelling, role-playing, and teamwork-based tasks, participants developed essential skills such as empathy, active listening, and non-violent communication.

Special attention was given to encouraging children to express their perspectives, share experiences, and collaboratively find peaceful solutions to everyday conflicts. The sessions were facilitated by trained educators who created a safe space for open dialogue and learning.

This initiative contributes to building a culture of peace by empowering young generations to become ambassadors of understanding and cooperation within their communities. By investing in peace education at an early stage, the program strengthens long-term resilience and social cohesion across the region.
