Compañera Elmira, Mother of Resistance

I’ve recently arrived upon an era of personal liberation in my life, having refused domination culture and ownership mentality. My journey began seven years ago with the question “why?”

I challenged myself to question everything, believing that in doing so, I could untangle the mangled wires of social conditioning and reprogram my operating system. Moving more towards becoming a human being who operated instead, out of love for humanity and freedom of spirit.

I found answers to my questions of why in the wilderness. I found worship and meditation in the mountains, lakes, rivers, streams, desert wastelands, and cloudless, unobstructed horizons. I found truth in blood red sunsets and silver moonbeams. I found purpose in roaming the bellies of epic canyon lands and napping beneath towering rock arches.
It has been seven years of constant personal growth and transformation, made possible by the willingness to shed obsolete values and illogical perspectives. Not only a willingness, but an eagerness, to surrender what I am for what I could become.

I want to grow, I want to connect, I want to learn what others know, I want to share what I know. In my heart lives a hunger, a craving for exploration, adventure, and freedom. A deep yearning to feel human in this shared experience we call….life.

My Passions:
learning, loving, growing

My Challenges:
many

My Vision for the Future:
Creating a world in which women work with each other in sisterhood for the redistribution of power
