As part of our activities for this initiative, 3 Communities ( Damboa,Arikime, and Kandahar of Potiskum, Yobe state, Nigeria) were reached to create awareness on importance of girl child education.
Continuous education is one of the strategies we are using to close the disparity between boys and girls in school.
Girls being out of school is one of the inequalities we see. To combat it from the roots ,we are engaging community and religious leaders who are the major influencers in the communities as they interact with the Communities on the benefits of education for girls.
