Encouragement
Hoo boy, here we go again. This time I’m doing another Reddit commentary on a pick-me girl who claims she’s not a pick-me, but gives it all away in her anti-woman rant. Let’s get started:
“there are a whole range of people, from non-binary to very lesbian to straight at my school which is cool, lots of diversity. But so many of them genuinely hate men. I've heard girls say that 'being a man is the default gender' and that 'men can't be oppressed'. Both of which are so inherently wrong, firstly, there is no 'default gender', we all know very well you can't choose your gender, you're either born it or feel very much like that gender so you transition, so saying there's a default, makes 0 sense, and is sexist.”
Because no fucking shit, men are the fucking default. The patriarchy has brainwashed you into believing there is no one-sided system that the Men’s Rights Movement constantly preached over. And second, being born a cisgendered male means you have an unchecked privilege that those who don’t have it are quick to recognize. It is not sexist against men to discuss male privilege. And the reason the girls in your school hate men is because they’ve had terrible experiences with enough of them and are concerned for their own safety. If you still don’t understand, then I strongly assume you either were given protection of a white man to avoid oppression against women or you’re actually not a woman at all and you’re just shitposting.
”Secondly, men can and are oppressed, there are countless accounts of male people being raped by women on this sub and many other places! And not only that, these people are actively oppressing men! OH THE IRONY.”
Countless? Seriously?! Don’t make me laugh! If men are “oppressed” in any way, it’s caused by OTHER MEN, not women! Again, countless?! The reality is that the majority of rape crimes against men are OTHER MEN, aka the rapist being a woman is rare either way! I repeat, men are oppressing themselves, because of their harmful ideology and are not only hurting themselves but also women and non-binary individuals.
”I get really pissed whenever i hear this sexist talk go around the people at my school (i hear it all the time) so obviously i had to ask. I've asked a few people why they think all men are bad and their answers all go something along the line of 'well in the past men have oppressed women ect. ect.'... yes they do speak the truth here, but that was in the past, aka not now, times have changed.”
Then why the fuck did you go to an all-girls school then, dumbass?! Also, way to invalidate women’s experiences with men. God forbid a woman say anything bad about any man in particular in order to be heard! Not to mention, this scenario right here makes you look like an asshole, gaslighting other women saying “the past is past, everything’s changed”. Guess what, Princess? NO THE FUCK IT HASN’T!! Just because there were shitty men in the past doesn’t mean there aren’t any shitty men in the present! Girl, get your head out of your ass!
”Another argument is that 'Men rape women, so they're all bad and untrustworthy', true, women do get raped. But, so do men, and this also doesn't mean every man under the sun is a rapist - quite the contrary actually!”
None of these women said all men are rapists. They said there are too many male rapists in the world and the concept of rape should not be ignored. Also, they’re not saying men don’t get raped, that’s YOU saying that. Just because nearly every man you met is a sweetheart doesn’t mean the experience is the same for every other woman. You’re just trying to bring men into the argument to invalidate women’s experiences.
”I remember one time talking with a group of friends (i use friends very loosely here) discussing being trans and discussing pronouns - one of the girls in our group was questioning their gender - and one of these fuckers said this: 'I don't want to go by he/him because of the things associated with it'. hello?????? The things associated with the male gender?????? It's a gender.”
What the fuck are you even talking about? Why are you even friends with these girls? First of all, people can go by any pronoun and still identify as a specific gender. The girl questioning her gender, is specifically discussing how she doesn’t feel like a real girl but doesn’t want to identify as male. It is common for people in the transgender community to feel this way. And you have the fucking nerve to get offended all because a trans girl has a negative experience with men and is simply just telling you how she feels! Don’t get mad when someone starts questioning their identity and says this along the way! It doesn’t matter if male is a gender, she is expressing her feelings of shame and self-doubt because of what is happening in our society. And yet you still remain ignorant over it!
”I really don't understand their logic or point of view, especially when I've heard a few too many of these feminazis spout nonsense like 'Well men have never really been oppressed like women have so it's ok to be sexist, but i don't think it's sexist, i think it's karma'. Where did these ideas come from??? What happened to fighting for equality???? And why on Earth do I have to talk to these people practically every day.”
Oh dear god, you’re definitely one of those cringeworthy pick-me’s, aren’t you? First major red flag, calling these girls “feminazis”! So if I’m a feminazi, then that must make you a miserable pick-me tradwife who grovels at the needs of angry abusive men and say nothing but praises and “yes daddy”! Red flag number 2, you’re constantly bitching and moaning about women recognizing the social ladder and systemic oppression. You’re screaming misandry when women say men don’t face the same issues that women do and throw a fit whenever men have to face accountability! Because accountability for men is misandry according to this dingus! On a side note, who the fuck talks about “karma” these days other than a bunch of clickbait internet trolls?!
Do you want to know where they come from?! Because women have experienced misogyny all their lives and are standing up for themselves! Do you want to know what happened to “fighting for equality”?! Sexist men threw tantrums about women fighting for equality because they can’t give up their pedestals and attempt to make themselves the victim! And do you want to know why you have to listen to women discuss their issues?! Because we are people, we can talk about whatever the fuck we want! You are not in charge of keeping women silent just because our views don’t agree with yours!
”I've got a few comments saying that this post was designed to do well here or that I'm just confirming to what Reddit wants for karma and I really want to make this clear. That is WRONG. I'm not looking for karma I just really wanted to share my experience and to express my anger, because obviously this type of thing pisses me off. I'm not a pickme girl, I am just a girl who wants equal rights for everyone. To everyone else though, thanks for the support it's really good to know that the world isn't full of the people like the ones around me.”
Liar liar, pants on fire! This edit of yours completely contradicts your supposed intentions. You’re just mad that you have to listen to women who have different experiences and political views from yours! Stop lying to yourself claiming you want “equality”, because from the shit you talk, you have no fucking clue what equality actually means! Girl, stop acting like a fucking victim and accept the consequences! It’s your own fault for wanting to go into an all-girls school. The reason you’re not getting “equality” is because you are part of the problem! You put men on a pedestal and are sexist and demeaning to your own gender! You’re not the victim here! You are the full definition of a mean girl who constantly bullies and berates other women to make herself look good! Women like you who give women in general a bad name disgust me! In other words, get a fucking life!
