However, on October 16, 2017, her relentless pursuit of justice was violently cut short. As she was driving near her home, a bomb planted in her car exploded, killing her instantly.

Her last blog post, published just minutes before her assassination, contained chilling words:

"There are crooks everywhere you look now. The situation is desperate."
