Educate a Game Changer Initiative
Aims
1. To position girls and women on decision making spaces in their communities
2. To strengthen economic well-being of women in rural communities
3. To eliminate harmful cultural practices that are still very prevalent in the communities. These include: SGBV, FGM, early marriages for girls
Goals
1. Conduct quarterly digital and employment skills camps for out of school girls and young women
2. Conduct entrepreneurship training for out of school young women
3. Conduct school holiday mentorship sessions for school girls
4. Support vulnerable girls to remain in school
Objectives
1. Acquire computers and internet access for training
2. Develop partnerships with local government, private sector and other organizations to provide the skills trainings, sponsorship and on job opportunities for the young women
3. Mobilize support for distribution of school supplies, sanitary hygiene products and scholarships for school going girls
