Education dispute for the young girl in South Kivu

This is my first story that I share with you. I am a Congolese resident living in the Democratic Republic of Congo, in the east of the DRC. A sad reality can be observed in the east of the DRC, precisely in South Kivu. Education is on the cheap, many women start their studies but stop halfway .. the reasons for this early stopping is that the young girls are not motivated for the studies because already from the family, the girls are in the process of be discouraged by their families who make them believe that they are only good for marriage and this demotivates ambitious young girls from studies and an early influence on the marriage contract. young girls who commit early to marriage, abandoning their dreams, living in a vicious cycle of poverty and are victims of exploitation by their men who can abandon them at any time because they are unable to support themselves. Several young girls enter the home very young, give birth and are victims of abuse by their men.
