“Empowered women – empower women” - Collective Impact partners.

The initiative of 5 organizations based in the US has brought for Maharashtra, India an amalgamation of skill and technology to be provided to 22 women leaders working on economic empowerment of women from Maharashtra. Being one of the selected women leaders has given me deep insights into who I am as a leader and what can change and I can see that evolution within myself, an opportunity for funding, looking at advocacy with a focused through process, getting connected to huge national and international networks to forge linkages and interacting with people who work in Public health. The program over one year has had us mentored with life coaches who we interacted with through regular monthly calls which have allowed us to grow as individuals and share our learning’s. This initiative has made me look at myself more positively, forged friendships and linkages which would be life long and immense learning under one roof by sharing experiences of 22 brave and beautiful women who are working tirelessly in remote and other areas to stand up for women’s issues in society and address the same. It is indeed my privilege and with deep gratitude I acknowledge all our trainers who have patiently hand held us through this entire journey and who have been our change agents in this past year.
