As we begin a new year, I am filled with gratitude and hope. Serving as the Communication Manager for Hold My Hands Organization under the visionary leadership of Madam Banja is an honor I deeply cherish. This role allows me to witness firsthand the incredible impact of compassion and collective action in transforming lives.

The story of Hold My Hands Organization began with a single act of kindness. Madam Banja encountered a bright boy living in a children’s home and decided to sponsor his education. Her unwavering support enabled him to excel academically, earning a place at the prestigious Alliance Boys High School and later pursuing a degree in Actuarial Science at university. His success became a beacon of what can happen when someone believes in another’s potential.

Moved by his story, Madam Banja shared it with her friends, encouraging them to support other students. What started as a single sponsorship soon blossomed into a movement as friends told other friends, creating a growing network of support. Today, the organization has changed the lives of over 700 students, providing them with education, mentorship, and opportunities they could only dream of before.

Hold My Hands Organization goes beyond financial support. It creates a nurturing environment where young people from disadvantaged backgrounds can thrive. Through mentorship programs, counseling, and a strong community network, the organization equips students with the skills and confidence to overcome challenges and achieve their goals. Many beneficiaries have gone on to excel academically, secure meaningful careers, and give back to their communities, creating a ripple effect of positive change.
