Empowering The Young Artists Refugees

It is so ironic that someone from oceans apart got in touch with me via LinkedIn to help out with project management and accounting duties for a refugee Led Organization in my own country and I literally didn’t know how both of us could make it happen considering the distance and all associated huddles in the way of life. Anyone who knows me well knows my deep passion for empowering & building self esteem especially for the girl child, so here was the opportunity I have always tried out solely for quite a while now but here or there I felt I wasn’t helping out everyone as I wanted. Funny how that message from a person working with UNCHR reached out to me and the rest is history.

Doing what I am so passionate about has made everything seem so seemlessly easy to execute the at hand Project Umucyo Art located in Nakivale Refugee Settlement. In acouple of Days ago I was with the young Artists who express their dreams through painting their way to life and I must say they are so brilliant and determined towards their aspirations no wonder Care for Refugees saw their great uniqueness and decided to help in growing them.

It takes a greatful heart to do what Care for refugees has done and continued to do for these young refugees.

In brief I am very honored to be apart of the strong Team of Care for Refugees because personally it has challenged me towards expanding my career growth at the same time doing what I am most passionate about and that’s empowering Humanity 👌
