Empowering Women. Transforming Communities.

"Develop the agency of a girl, and you’ve empowered an entire community"

Nigeria's present hardship had many names, but too often, it wore the face of a woman.

Women who their husband and children are killed and maimed in their presence

Women who their daughters have to drop out of school because of their safety

Women who live in fear day and night and now battling with anxiety and depression

Women who have been raped, molested several times but have to keep going to her farm because that is her means of livelihood.

Women who gave birth in candlelit clinics without medicine.

Women who walked miles with jerry cans for water on their heads.

Women who watched their sons disappear into cults, and their daughters traded for money to be able to eat.

Women who became the backbone of homes yet carried the heaviest burden in silence.

development of Personal agency is needed now in Nigeria more than ever. Women need to turn around the limiting issues facing them into visions that will keep them going at this trying time. This is the reason for this initiative.

In 2021, we empowered 42 jobless women, all survivors of domestic violence, living in Akeredolu village. They had depended solely on their husbands for survival. Today, every one of those women owns a thriving business worth millions of Naira — and they’ve paid it forward, empowering 119 more women to achieve financial freedom.

Come walk this journey with us.
