Empowerment program

Hello world pulse. My name is Aisha abdulraheem bamidele, I base in Kano state Nigeria, I’m the founder of Aisha women’s Rise Foundation, I have been to 34 schools(senior secondary school and junior secondary s) and 17 local government in Kano state like Gezawa, Kura and Gwarzo to empower them in baking and tie&dye so they become financially independent. I have impacted over 5000young girls, women (old and young) even boys Initially we were into empowering young girls and women but during a visit to Mariri IDP camp for boys with the commissioner of humanitarian and poverty alleviation Kano state, we taught them how to do tie&dye and they were so attentive we decided to include boys in our empowerment program we added local government to our empowerment program because we want to start from the grassroots most of the girls especially marry at a very young age. My foundation also distribute pads to most of the schools we go to for free and teach them the do’s and don’t of period, some the girls don’t even know how to use pads because they use cut cloths as pads because it’s too expensive for them, it’s such a pity. I also decided to give some of the participants who are serious start up materials. And some of the participant practice what we taught them and sent pictures and prayers. And I wish government and other organizations can partner and collaborate with me because this children and women need assistant.
