*EQUALITY IS NOT EQUATION* ✋⛔️

Very often ppl heard abt ‘gender equality’; many still missunderstand it as ‘equation’! NO! Wrong!❌

Gender Equality is the ‘equal opportunity’ between women and men in “access, participation, benefit n control!” 

Men or women have “equal opportunity” in education, business (economic), health, politics and so on. Its human rights to have ‘decent life’ in this earth! 🌏

Its also means for a ‘suitable partner’ [kesepadanan] in marriage! ~ [Genesis 2:18]

Wife is suitable helper while husband is head of family as servant leadership following Jesus Christ who sacrificed for human forgiving by God!✝️

Is “equality” means ‘suitable”?! Yes, since women and men are complement to each other receiving similar love as human being by God however they hv different functions in marriage - that’s why they should have “gender partnership”!🤝

Women have functions mostly in reproduction, caring, consumption and sexual intimacy. Its natural that women mostly control those areas - without them - problems might arise!

Biased thinking born due to the frequency and used to do it; then ppl (mostly men) think that become destiny (kodrat) of women! NO! Its wrong!

Women destiny is only 4 : menstruation (haid), pregnancy, delivery n breast feeding ~ due to men cannot do it! [dont believe movies when they said men could hv babies - NO , its a dream only!]

Physical of a woman is different wt a man; diferent genital organs and different hormonal system ~ that’s why ppl know: feminine and masculine! Mixing them one of another is just denial to what God’s plan. 

Researches proved many parents treated their kids (boy/ girl) in contrary to the fact bcoz wanted the other type (girl/ boy). 

Parents may transfer their own gender biases to their children. For instance, from a young age, girls may be treated as fragile or praised for their looks while boys may be encouraged to always be strong and earn praise for their physical strength. Through such biases, children are gradually taught to behave according to these “accepted” norms of their gender, which can be harmful to their social and emotional development.(source: Uniceforg)

Their life was disturbed over years and put effects as denial to what God gave them which then being transformed when youth and adult as ‘different person’ in mentality, not the physical given by God.

In bible we found God created man n woman ; also united them as husband n wife within marriage!

*Matthew 19:8,* - pointing toward marriage's existence as a male/female, one-flesh union “from the beginning.” Furthermore, we believe that God intends sexual intimacy to occur between a man and a woman who are married to each other (1 Cor. 6:18; 7:2-5; Heb. 13:4).

*1 Cor 7:2* ~ Nevertheless, to avoid fornication, let *every man* have his own wife, and let *every woman* have her own husband.

The above shows clearly what God wanted to: a man as husband and a woman as wife!💥

Woman, the wife is a suitable helper for a man, the husband (Gen 2:18);

No one can separate them whom been united by God ( Matt 19:6)

~ “So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore, what God has joined together, no human being must separate.”

However, there is no day without a problem! Men who are living along wt patriarchy culture; may be attacked by ‘legitimation crises’ that ended up to violence against women! Studies proved that gender based violence cd be prevented! (Surjadi.E, University of Indonesia, 2008).

Those situation n condition in comunities (from low to higher education/ economic status etc) later on - had pushed the born of Gender Harmony in 2010; launched n supported by the Ministry of Women Empowerment Republic of Indonesia.

Gender Harmony (GH) means building “peace n harmony” between relation n position of women and men; where *Gender Harmony Marriage* to build unity of husband n wife by respect & effective communication for peace n harmonious living in family.

GH has several tools, they are: Harmony Comunicative Action (HCA), Gender Partnership, Family Handling Crisis, Gender Based Violence Prevention, Gender Family Resilience, Dual Income Family, Gender Transformation and so on.

GH has presented one year of talks in mariage & family based on grnder aspects.
